Private Airport Transfers FAQs

Q. What locations do you operate from?
A. ShuttleMate® and UltiMate Executive Transfers primarily operate private airport transfers in Noosa and across the wider Sunshine Coast, plus Brisbane (in Brisbane and between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast only), as well as Sydney. We also offer services on the Gold Coast via our Affiliate Company.

Q:  How far in advance should I book?
A: As availability changes daily, we suggest you make your booking as soon as your travel dates and times are confirmed. This can be done up to 12 months in advance and is recommended for special occasions or events. 

Q: Can we make additional stops or pick-ups?
A: Additional stops or pick-ups may increase the distance travelled and may also incur a waiting time charge. We charge $20 for each additional stop.

Q: Does ShuttleMate provide child restraints?
A: Yes. We provide rear-facing baby seats, child seats and boosters for a small fee. They can be selected on the website reservation/booking form when making your reservation.

Q: Will I be charged waiting time if my flight is delayed?
A: No. We monitor your flight to ensure that your driver will be there when your flight arrives.

Q: How do we meet our driver for pick-up at the airport? Please note that all transfers must be pre-booked and pre-paid in advance.

A: At Sydney International Terminal T1 (vehicles seat up to 9 people) it takes about one hour to clear immigration and customs. Your private driver will park and get in 50 minutes after your flight’s arrival and will be waiting with a ‘name sign’ at the exit gate assigned to your flight inside the arrival hall.

At Sydney International Terminal T1 (vehicles seat up to 13 people) it takes about one hour + to clear immigration and customs. Your driver will park and get in 60 minutes after your flight’s arrival and will be waiting with a ‘name sign’ at the exit gate assigned to your flight inside the arrival hall.

At Sydney International Terminal T1 (buses and coaches with 14 seats plus) for larger groups your private chauffeur will arrive at the holding area outside of the airport 1.5 hours after your flight’s arrival. Please call your driver once you are ready to board the bus at the bus and coach parking located opposite the Rydges Hotel. 

At Sydney  Domestic Terminals T2, T3 (vehicle seat up to 13 people) your driver will welcome you with a ‘name sign’ and will meet you 25 minutes after your flight’s arrival at the luggage carousel assigned to your flight inside the arrival hall.

At Sydney  Domestic Terminals T2, T3 (buses and coaches with 14 seats plus) your private coach will arrive 30 minutes after your flight’s arrival at the bus and coach parking bay located outside the terminal.

At Brisbane International Terminal (vehicles seat up to 13 people) your driver holding a ‘name sign’ will meet you 40 minutes after your flight’s arrival between the Customs exit doors and The Coffee Club inside the arrival hall.

At Brisbane Domestic Terminals (vehicles up to 13 seats) your driver holding a ‘name sign’ will meet you 15 minutes after your flight’s arrival at the luggage carousel assigned to your flight inside the arrival hall.

At Sunshine Coast Airport (vehicles seat up to 13 people) your driver carrying a ‘name sign’ will meet you 10 minutes after your flight’s arrival at the luggage carousel area inside the arrival hall.
